Amazon Creek : ウィキペディア英語版 | Amazon Creek Amazon Creek is a stream that runs through parts of Eugene, Oregon, United States. It is a tributary of the Long Tom River and is Eugene's second-largest waterway after the Willamette River. ==Background== Upon the completion of the Fern Ridge Dam, a diversion canal was constructed to connect the creek with Fern Ridge Reservoir, as a means of controlling floodwaters in the area. Amazon Creek's headwaters are located in Eugene's Southeast hills near Spencer Butte. The stream then travels north to 18th Avenue, then turns west around High Street and continues into the diversion canal and into Fern Ridge Reservoir. The creek continues to the Long Tom River.
